A secure, customizable fit is achieved through adjustable cummerbunds and shoulder straps, while the Base Carrier accommodates rigid ballistic plates for higher-caliber threat protection. Integrated attachment points stabilize the system during extended wear, and soft handgun-rated ballistic panels can be attached to the body-facing sides using hook-and-loop fasteners. This modular setup enables wearers to configure their armor for soft, hard, or combination protection—soft/soft, hard/soft, or hard/hard—tailored to the mission and threat level.
